About Port-to-Port Consulting
Port-to-Port Consulting is a small, outsourced computer support and consulting firm located on Indianapolis' near north side. The company was founded in 1991. The staff has project management and system analysis expertise that includes projects valued at more than $20 million. Our knowledge comes from years in government and industry. We specialize in complete network management for small organizations. Through Pertingo®, our premier service plan, we provide consulting; work flow analysis; network development, maintenance, and management; and remote data communications solutions for our clients. We are certified as a minority vendor by the state of Indiana and the city of Indianapolis.
Within the Port-to-Port team are all the skills necessary to run your IT department including system specification, design, and implementation; training of adult learners; organizational design; software development; and general business management. We bring the power of knowledge to your operation without the technical complexities so often encountered in computer systems. We accomplish this by understanding your information flow and seeking out the least complicated technology to meet those needs. Our goal is to determine the solution that meets your needs with the least amount of extras.
The principals have decades of computer experience between them. This experience covers the PCs of every major manufacturer along with many lesser known brands. They have been involved in the design, specification, purchase, installation, configuration, and use of many PC-based networks using private and public facilities for connectivity.
Not-For-Profit Experience
Port-to-Port's staff has worked in many facets of the not-for-profit sector with many different organizations. From our beginning, we have dedicated our efforts to serving the organizations that serve our community. Port-to-Port understands the needs of not-for-profit organizations through our involvement. Our staff is actively involved in nearly forty social service, civic, and professional not-for-profit organizations, holding board, committee, and other leadership positions in many of them.
Through our work with these organizations, Port-to-Port's staff has developed some unique skills that are applicable to successful organizations. These skills touch most of the critical operations of a service organization including fundraising, contact management, marketing planning, accounting, human resources, and general communications with constituents of the organizations.
